Bio

I have been programming in San Francisco, California for 3 years. Studying Web Design & New Media at the Academy of Art gave me a foundation in building static websites with HTML, CSS and JavaScript as well as education and practice in building prototypes with the Adobe Creative Suite. I became acquainted with how to animate, and learned lots about Graphic Design, Brand Identity and User Experience. While in school, I designed websites for ModNomad Studio and Cafe Madrid on Wix.

After I graduated from AAU in May of 2019, I was eager to figure out how to solve problems that my clients were proposing and wanted to learn more about building web applications on my own! So I took on the Software Engineering Immersive course at General Assembly. There, I dove deeper into the foundations of programming. I learned how to work with databases, APIs, modules, forms, CSS preprocessors, routing, authentication, deployment and much more! Since graduating from GA in October of 2019, I have been continuously challenging myself by building more complex applications for freelance projects including 2 Minute Mindsets and an interactive database system for a rental car company called Amerimex.
